KARLIN
YETTA (nee Solomon), Jan. 8, 1927 - Feb. 16, 2014. A longtime Phila. resident died peacefully at Jeanes Hospital. She was the daughter of immigrants and raised in Phila., where she made a home with her husband Morris, taking pleasure in raising 2 successful children, Dr. Marsha Britton (Robert Britton) and Dr. Paul S. Karlin (Dawn Karlin). From them, they were blessed with 7 grand-children and 3 great grand-children. Yetta worked side by side with her husband to provide for a better life and opportunities for her children. She loved traveling to Atlantic City with her sister Pearl to play the slots. She possessed a sharp wit, was an avid lover of movies, chocolate, coffee, Coca Cola, and Simon Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha; son, Paul; sister, Pearl Wilder; her lovely grandchildren and great grand-children, who will keep her memory alive. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, 10 A.M. precisely, at Shalom Memorial Park (Sec. Elijah), 101 Byberry Rd., Huntingdon Valley PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in her remembrance as directed donation to Jeanes Hospital, c/o Dr. Paul Karlin, 7600 Central Ave., Phila. PA 19111.
