William Berger

William “Bill” Berger on February 2, 2025. Bill was born in Philadelphia on April 11, 1936. He was the devoted husband of the late Joan (nee Phillips) Berger, incredible father to Mindy Rose Berger (Jay Alexander), and amazing grandfather to Benjamin Richlin. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore and Bessie (nee Selsky) Berger, sisters Flossie Pyle Diamond and Mildred Vinokur. He was a 1953 graduate from West Philadelphia High School and a 1958 pharmacy graduate from The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. Bill was first generation American and a first generation college graduate, a proud achievement. He and wife Joan owned Broad Axe Pharmacy for almost 20 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Wednesday, February 5, 11:30 AM precisely at Roosevelt Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2701 Old Lincoln Highway, Trevose PA 19053. Shiva will be observed at a cat free Airbnb following services with Minyan at 7:00 PM, Thursday 5:30-9:30 PM with Minyan at 7:00 PM and Saturday 12:00-9:30 PM with Minyan at 5:00 PM.
