SOLKIN, Vicki Romm

passed away peacefully in Tampa, FL, April 21, 2017, at age 68, surrounded by her husband, children, and family. She was born and raised on the mainline of Philadelphia, PA. Later, she married and moved to the Jersey Shore. Vicki worked in the casino industry as an executive for many years before retiring to Tampa with her husband. She is survived by the love of her life of 49 years, her husband, Harris Solkin; her sister, Shelley Romm; her children whom she loved dearly, Richard Solkin and Jodi and husband Michael Hildebrandt; and her three very loved grandchildren, Andrew Solkin, Ashley and Ryan Hildebrandt. The latest two loves of her life that brought her so much joy, Duke and Dash. She was an active member of many organizations over the years and made friends everywhere she went. She will be missed beyond words. If anyone wishes to donate, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Gulfside Hospice, 2061 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Sunday April 30 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 1200 N Bartram Ave, Darby, PA 19023. Following services, all are invited to the home of Jodi and Michael Hildebrandt.
