Vicki Lynn Miller
Vicki Lynn Miller (née Waterman), born April 17, 1954, passed away at the age of 70 on June 8, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA. Vicki found immense joy & purpose in her nursing career, having various roles as a psychiatric RN, Director of Nursing, and nursing educator. She touched countless lives through her compassionate commitment to health care.
Vicki's love extended far beyond the walls of hospitals and classrooms. For over two decades, Vicki served as a devoted medical volunteer at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, where her dedication to helping others and her infectious laughter became cherished parts of the festival's spirit and her extended group of festival family.
Her warmth and kindness extended not only to humans but also to her beloved animals (including but not limited to Cisco, Tanya, Ubi, Magic Bean, Nikko, Bella, & Sadie Mae) and the vibrant gardens she nurtured with care.
Vicki's joy for life was evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed numerous travels to Mexico, and she took great pride in decorating her home for Halloween, winning multiple community awards.
Vicki is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Miller, her father James Waterman, her mother Marge Waterman, and stepmother Mary “Mitzi” Waterman. She leaves behind her stepson Daniel Miller (Kimberly), granddaughter Adina Miller, sisters-in-law Evette Weinstein and Ava Miller, nephew Jeffrey Weinstein and a multitude of loving friends who have become like family to her.

A memorial service was held at Congregation Beth Or, 239 Welsh Road, Maple Glen, PA 19002, on Tuesday, June 11th at 11 AM.
