Sylvia Newman (nee Nowak) beloved wife of 75 years to Benjamin Newman who predeceased her 17 months ago, died October 2, 2014 at age 94 in Boca Raton, FL. Mother of Ronna (Larry) Rutstein and Harvey (Debbie) Newman. MomMom to Joshua (Wendy) Greenberg, Daniel Newman, Abby Newman, Rachel (Kipp) Cohen, Rebecca Rutstein and Mike Stifel, and Avi (Dianne) Rutstein. And 'Great' MomMom to Eva and Sean Greenberg, Brandon and Ryan Cohen, Oliver and Miles Stifel, and Brady and Noah Rutstein. Noah Bennett was born 4 hours before Sylvia died. He will be named for Sylvia and Benjamin Newman. She was a guiding light and source of sage advice for her family. Sylvia's legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a beautiful woman with a spirit and light that she shone brightly throughout her 94 years. She was loved deeply not only by her family but by her friends in Florida and Pennsylvania as well.
