SYLVIA LEVAY

Sylvia "Syl" Levay (nee Yollin) 1919-2020 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020 at the age of 101.Wife of 66 years of the late Bernard Levay, Sylvia is survived by her children Mark (Roberta) Levay, Alan Levay, and Cheryl (Gerard) Russ; grandchildren Elyse (Lance Brandt) Stolinsky, Steven (Elisa) Levay, Hinda (Kevin) O'Donnell, Hope (David) Gottlieb, Lisa (Scott) Warchol, Michelle (Nick Rynders) Cantor, and Dani Cantor; great-grandchildren Scott Stolinsky, Michael Stolinsky, Jessie Gottlieb, Harrison Levay, Haiden O'Donnell, Sami Levay, Lindsay Gottlieb, and Brittany O'Donnell. Syl was very proud of all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sharing stories and pictures of all her family members and their accomplishments. She was well known for her colorful sense of humor and spunky personality. Syl was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held privately due to COVID-19 regulations.
