Sylvia G. Karafin Beloved wife, loving mother, devoted Bubbie Sylvia G. Karafin (nee Gravitz) died Aug. 12, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Monday, precisely at 1 p.m., at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks, 6410 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, www.goldsteinsfuneral.com.Interment is in Montefiore Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Geraldine and Ronald Karafin. Sylvia was the beloved wife of the late Herman; loving mother of Ellen (James) Brehove and Ronald (Geraldine); dear sister of Arthur (Jean) and the late Sidney (and the late Eleanor) Gravitz; devoted Bubbie of Jacquelyn, Jordan, Aaron, Brooke and the late Bridgette. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
