SYLVIA LOIS (nee Turtletaub), May 15, 1927-August 20, 2014, of Doylestown, Pa., passed away on August 20 at the age of 87. Her death was preceded 2 years earlier by her beloved husband, Dr. Albert Morris Honig, who were together in devoted matrimony for 63 years. Sylvia was born in Bayonne, N.J. to parents Abram Turteltaub, a real estate attorney, and Gertrude Wigdor. She is survived by her sister Rhoda (Herb Rosenthal), Santa Barbara, CA., and Harriet (Eugene Abroms), Haverford, Pa. Sylvia was predeceased by her brother, Alan Turteltaub (Judy Mccahon, Walnut Creek, Ca.). She was a devoted mother to her children Karin (Joseph Kleinman), New York, NY, Kim (Jack Gudin) Ft. Pierce, FL., Eric (Hannah Shaw), Venice, CA, Peter (Laura Tucker), Elkins Park, Pa., grandchildren, Zachary and Shana Honig, New York, NY, Zora Rose and Rex (due soon) Tucker Honig, Elkins Park, Pa and step-grandmother to Sophie and Cesca Crowley (Venice, Ca.). Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Tuesday 11 AM precisely at Doylestown Cemetery (Sec. S-3). Contributions in her memory may be made to the James A. Michener Art Museum, 138 S. Pine St., Doylestown, Pa., 18901.
