Sybil K. Gloss (nee Carr) born April 10th, 1929, and passed away peacefully July 18th, 2026. She was the eldest child of Jeanne and Harry Carr. Beloved wife of the late Harold; Loving mother of Jeffrey Gloss (Linda); Dear sister of the late Gary and the late Shelly; Dear sister-in-law of Elaine Carr and the late Ellen Carr; Cherished grandmother of Erica (Jeff) and David (Emma); Adoring great-grandmother of Elijah, Julian, Sabrina, and Shea. Sybil spent her life with Harold in Northeast Philadelphia and then in Tamarac Florida. Known as Mom-Mom Sibby to many more family, friends and all their fur babies over the years. Sibby graduated from South Philadelphia High School for Girls, became a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling the world, knitting and cooking for everyone… and attending endless events and gatherings to show love and support to all her great grandchildren, some of whom were blessed to have 19 years with her. Sibby spent her last many months at Sunrise of Haverford, and her family is extremely grateful to all the caregivers that treated her like their own Mom-Mom. She will be dearly missed.
