Suzan grew up in the Far Northeast of Philadelphia, attended George Washington High School, and graduated from Arcadia University in political science followed by certification as a litigation paralegal. She went on to work as a paralegal and law librarian while taking loving care of her son, Tyler, and supporting her husband, Jim Butt. Daughter of Lois and the late Milton Reibstein. Sister of Cindi Reibstein. Sister-in-law and dearest friend, Catherine Fowler.
Following her diagnosis, Suzan and Jim served as advocates for the Alzheimer's Association, contributing their energy and time to raising awareness for the disease with both state and federal lawmakers for Pennsylvania. Suzan was especially concerned for the impact of this disease on families and children reflecting her long commitment to needy children in her community in Cheltenham.
She had a warm heart and a gentle outlook on life. May her love and kindness spread out to comfort all who knew her.
