Steve Shapiro

Steve Shapiro, born on July 30, 1952, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. He will be remembered as a generous and loving individual whose presence brought warmth and joy to those fortunate enough to know him.

Steve shared a life filled with cherished memories, notably his wedding day, which remains a highlight in the hearts of his family and friends. His passion for photography allowed him to capture moments that will forever be treasured, while his culinary skills, especially his renowned chicken soup, delighted many and fostered connections around the dining table.

He is survived by his beloved husband, Tom Gould, and his niece, Joli Edwards, who will carry his spirit in their hearts. Steve's legacy of kindness and creativity will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of being part of his life.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors Inc., located at 6410 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19126. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring his memory and the joyous impact he had on the lives he touched.
