Dr. Stephen H. Paul

Dr. Stephen Paul, 83, passed away in the late evening on January 8, 2025, surrounded by his three loving daughters, Amy, Stacie and Lisa. Father of Amy (Richard) LeGrand, Stacie (Tito) Rodriguez and Lisa (Amir) Stark. Loving Zeyda to Jared, Morgan, Arielle, Jordan, Noa and Maya and proud great-grandfather to Aria and Quinn. He is also survived by his two loving sisters, Shelley Freedman and Myrna (Ted) Shutzbank.

He was an avid runner who loved gardening, helping others, researching anything and everything imaginable, and sharing his knowledge with others. Dr. Paul retired from Temple University’s School of Pharmacy after teaching Pharmaceutical Economics for over 40 years. Outside of teaching, his passion for running led him to spend almost five decades collaborating with various running sneaker designers, testing prototypes, and writing articles for Runners Gazette. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11:30 am precisely at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North, at 310 Second Street Pike Southampton, PA 18966. Family will begin receiving at 11 am. Interment to follow at Montefiore Cemetery.

Shiva will be observed at the Stark residence in Churchville, PA starting after 1:30 pm on Monday and will continue through Wednesday January 15.
