STANLEY on Sept. 4, 2008. A kind and gentle man passed away after a long illness from Alzheimer's. Son of the late Anna and Carl Schindler and the last of 5 brothers Joseph, Herbert, Freddie and Alvin; survived by his beloved wife Dorothy (nee Mutshnick); 3 sons, Alan (Sharon), Elliot (Marta), Richard (Jennifer); daughter Annie (Jeffrey) Witkin. The ultimate legacy, his grandchildren, Jordan, Daniel and Rachel Schindler, Sarah and Jacob Schindler, Martin, Carl and Gabrielle Witkin and Rebecca and Nathaniel Schindler and the welcomed
addition of Scott, Danny and Emily Klieman. As Stan nurtured and tended his beloved garden he did the same for his children and grandchildren. This dreadful illness took hold with such a force that his loss was felt years before this fateful day. He will surely be missed. Stan was a 1950 Graduate of West Philadelphia Highschool and a United States Airforce Veteran. After an honorable discharge he returned home to work in his family's Mens Retail Clothing business. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sunday 11:30 A.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. of Delaware Valley, 399 Market St. Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA. 19106. Shiva will be observed at his late residence.
