STANLEY EDWARD, D.O., 78, of Phila., formerly of Ventor City NJ. Died at home on July 1, 2009, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. Husband of 53 years, best friend and life time partner to Joyce (nee Beck); loving father of Edward Essl (Vicki) and Sharon Essl (Larry Kenny); devoted pop-pop of Elexis and Eric Kenny, Stanley was a graduate of P.C.P.&S. Class of 1953 and P.C.O.M. Class of 1975. A devoted family practice physician for 32 years, Stanley's passion for helping others will be continued with a donation of his body to the C.C.D.A. (Center for Chronic Disorders of the Aging) Neuro- Degenerative Research Labs. Contributions in his memory may be made to the above mentioned program c/o P.C.O.M. Office of Alumni Relations and Development, 4180 City Line Ave., Phila. PA 19135-1695. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 10 A.M. precisely, at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Shiva will be observed at his late residence.
