Spencer L. Field

 Spencer L Field, 81, of Holland, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2024. Dearly beloved husband of 57 (almost 58) years to Susan Cohen Field, loving father of Merri Field Giorgio (Dave Giorgio), and adoring grandfather of Sunny Giorgio and Chiara Bangor-Giorgio. Cherished brother to Marlynn Field (William Greenberg) and uncle to Craig Greenberg (Elisa), Lee Greenberg (Gina), and great-uncle to Maya and Benjamin Greenberg. Loving brother-in-law to Alan and Debbie Cohen, uncle to Matthew Cohen (Johanna Rubbert), and great-uncle to Luke Cohen. Dear cousin to Michael and Barbara Markowitz and friend to Sheila Lowenthal and countless others. 

Spencer was a proud graduate of the 215 class of Central High School and a Temple University Alumnus. He took great pride in his career, starting in computers in the early 1970’s and continuing in sales and consulting until his retirement in 2010. He loved spending time with family and friends, fine dining, traveling, theater and “playing” golf. He loved his weekly card games and breakfasts with the ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out). 

 Spencer was a devoted grandfather to Sunny Giorgio and never missed a musical theater performance. You could find Spencer lounging by the pool in Puerto Vallarta with a popsicle in one hand and a two-for-one margarita in the other. He was most happy when he was surrounded by his family.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, December 11, 3:30 PM at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Shiva will be held at the Field residence Wednesday from 6:00-8:30 PM and Thursday 3:00-8:00 PM. Contributions in Spencer’s memory should be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
