Simon “Si” H. Izes, 93, passed away on October 29^th, 2023. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Scheinholtz); loving father of Dr. Joseph Izes (Erella Bregman), Sherri Becker (the late Dr. David Becker), and Laurie Izes (Steve Switzky); adoring grandfather to Emily Haimes (Bryan), Jeffrey Becker (Alex), Carolyn Becker (Jeff Andersen, fiancé), Katie Izes (Stan Krasner, fiancé), Amanda Izes, Chloe Becker, Zachary Switzky, Sean Switzky, and J.J. Switzky; cherished great-grandfather to Isaac, Miles, and Mia. Dearest brother of the late Sara (Bernie) Zelig, uncle to Jody Frank (Etan), David Zelig (June) and Toby Strumpf (Ed Clibanoff). Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Wednesday, November 1^st, at 1:30 pm at Goldstein’s Rosenbergs Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 Second Street Pike. Interment to follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Contributions in his memory may be made to Magen David or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
