SIDNEY PARELMAN

Sidney Parelman, 87, passed away surrounded by family in the early morning of February 27th. Sid will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Roosevelt Memorial Park (sec. B) at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose, PA 19053. Sid was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Central High School and Temple University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. He enjoyed careers in banking and sales. He is survived by his wife Elaine, his son Seth and daughter-in law Teresa, his daughter Nicole and son-in-law Jason, and by his grandchildren Michaela and Gabriel, for whom he was always the center of their universe. He was a man of decency, who met life's challenges with humor, courage, and honor. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Sid's memory to The Glaucoma Foundation or The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
