Shirley Shapiro

Shirley Shapiro (nee Klemow) on May 19, 2023 after a heroic and successful quest to celebrate her 96^th birthday on May 11^th.  She was the last surviving child of the legendary Klemow family matriarch Bessie Klemow.  Beloved wife of the late Stanley Shapiro.  Devoted mother of Richard Shapiro (Sheryl), Lisa Fisher, and Carol Yudis (Steven).  Loving grandmother of Jonathan Shapiro (Annik), Jessica Fisher, Ethan Yudis, Brandon Yudis, Ross Yudis, and Zachary Yudis.  Loving great grandmother of Brayden and Dylan.  Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 12 Noon at Mt. Jacob Cemetery (Sect R), Glenolden, PA.  Informal gathering at the residence of Carol and Steven Yudis following the graveside service.  Contributions in her memory may be made to Planned Parenthood.  plannedparenthood.org
