In addition to her family, she was blessed with many friends including childhood friends, Sandra and Niecy. Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Stuber, parents, Morris & Ida Fishbein and her sister Rhoda Jacobs.
Sheila was born on January 7, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to Morris & Ida Fishbein. Sheila met Louis as a young teenager and at the age of 17 they eloped. Their marriage remained a secret until she spilled the beans to her father while working as a butcher in his butcher shop. At the age of 18, Sheila & Louis welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Jodi and shortly afterwards Michael was born followed by Brett many years later.
Sheila took a lot of pride in her appearance. Sheila loved nice clothes, jewelry and getting her hair done, loved dark chocolate Hershey bars, orange jello, sundaes, and mashed potatoes, she loved to dance, and loved to listen to Andre Bocelli and "Till" by the Vogues. She loved cowboy movies, especially The Virginian. Sheila loved chicken soup, especially Jodi's homemade soup, chicken wings and of course, Kentucky Fried Chicken. Michael, Jodi and Brett remember Sheila frequently calling "The Colonel" for dinner. Sheila loved Florida but never wanted to fly. Instead, they took a train. Most of all she loved her family. She loved when everyone got together to celebrate holidays & birthdays, especially hers, or to be at a barbecue with her family.
Sheila was a tough woman who faced her illness like she lived her life: with strength and dignity. She will be sorely missed.
