Semyon Kleiman, 75, of Davie, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on August 29, 1950, in Odessa, Ukraine, Semyon came of age during a time of great challenge in the Soviet Union. In 1979, with courage and determination, he made the bold decision to leave his homeland in search of a better life. He settled in Philadelphia, where he spent over two decades building a life defined by hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family.
A natural businessman, Semyon established himself as a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating restaurants and other business ventures throughout the Philadelphia area. His sharp mind, tireless work ethic, and strong will earned him the respect of all who knew him.
In 2001, Semyon and Maria relocated to Florida. His daughter Orianna followed in 2007, a testament to the close-knit family he had built. Beneath his tough exterior was a man of deep kindness and generosity — one who always put his family first.
Semyon is survived by his beloved wife, Maria; his daughter, Orianna, and her husband, Joseph; his son, Alexander, and his wife, Alice; cherished grandchildren: Nicholas and Jakob, and his beloved grand dogs Fozzie, Remy, and Theodore. His legacy lives on through them.
