Born December 27, 1917 and died on Sunday, January 7, 2018, after a brief illness. Selma was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Sophie Bannett; her first husband Dr. Robert Koffer; her second husband Benjamin Schwartz; her sister, Eleanor (Bannett) Weinberg and brother, Dr. Aaron Bannett. Selma is survived by her 2 sons, Dr. Dennis Koffer and his wife Gayle Johnston Koffer and Larry Koffer and his wife Barbara Disson Koffer; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Koffer, Rachel Koffer, Robert Koffer and his wife Angela Marin Koffer and one great-grand-child, Abigail Koffer. There will be a private Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gift of Life Foundation at: donors1.org/bannett or to the charity of your choice.
