RUBIN

SCOTT A., age 44, died in the early morning on June 22, 2013. Scott was the beloved son of Renée and Mort Rubin and loving brother of David. Scott was born in Phila. and graduated from Northeast High School in 1986. Scott was a life long Scout attaining the rank of Eagle Scout while member of Troop #95 in the Delaware District in the Northeast section of the city. Scott served as a member of both council camps, Hart Scout Reservation and Treasure Island. Scott was inducted into the Order of the Arrow, an organiation within Boy Scouts that honors its members who show dedication and service to others. Scott held numerous leadership positions as a youth and continued his service to the city scouts in an advisory role as an adult. Scott was bestowed with the OA's highest honor, sealing his vigil at Treasure Island. Known for his sense of humor and dedication to scouting, Scott has touched the lives of thousands of youths and adults. Scott's hobbies included playing basketball, football, racquetball, watching John Wayne movies and cheering his Redskins on Sunday afternoon.
