SCOTT ALAN, 43, of Edwards Colorado (formerly of Stroudsburg, PA) passed away at his home on February 17, 2007. He was born in Havertown, PA and was predeceased by his parents, Jay Josephs and Fern Goldberg. He was an accomplished skier and snowboarder, having earned high level certifications in both areas. For the past twenty years he has worked as a ski instructor for Vail Associates in Beaver Creek, Colorado. He established a dedicated following of clients and was particularly gifted at teaching children how to ski. In addition to spending his time on the mountain doing what he loved, he spent the off season doing masonry and serving as a football and soccer referee in Vail. Despite fighting illness for most of his adulthood, he maintained a rare positive outlook and a genuine love of life. He is survived by his siblings: Steven and Glorie Josephs , Howard and Sherry Josephs, Lisa and David Audet, Jonathan and Lisa Josephs, Marc Goldberg and Sean Selby, Colleen Goldberg, Meredith and Larry Pensack, and Sallie Glickman and Francis Carney; his stepparents Roselee Feinour and Barney Goldberg; his aunt Neshama Siner; and his eleven nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Thurs. 10:30 A.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N.
