Scott Hartley

Scott L. Hartley passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2023, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was 60 years old. Scott was born in Philadelphia and grew up in the Parkwood Manor Section of Northeast Philadelphia. He attended Steven Decatur Elementary, Benjamin Rush Middle, and George Washington High School. The family then moved to Langhorne where Scott graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1980. While attending school, Scott was an avid athlete earning himself letters in baseball and swimming.  He continued his studies at Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. After graduating, Scott began his career with great success at AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical. Scott had a great sense of humor and was kind and caring. He loved the beach and spent many good times there with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carole. He is survived by and missed dearly by his father, Mark T. Hartley Jr., brothers Ross (Cathy) and Sean, nephew Josh, nieces Abby, Brooke, and Lea, uncles Paul and Tom and many lifelong friends, including the staff and residents at Inglis House.
