Sandra Stein

Sandra "Sandy" Edythe Stein, daughter of the late Rae and Manuel Stein, passed away suddenly on July 11, 2025, in Jenkintown, PA.

She was a devoted sister to the late Norman Stein and to Rochelle Stein, and a cherished sister-in-law to Barbara Stein. Sandy was a beloved aunt to Mitchell Stein (Caitlin), Rachel Birns (Kevin), and Jason Altman, and a proud great-aunt to Abigail Stein, Gabriel Stein, Jack Birns, Jessica Altman, and Jordan Altman.

Sandy dedicated the majority of her life to education, serving as a math teacher in the Philadelphia School District. She inspired generations of students with her passion for learning and her love of math.

She had a zest for life and enjoyed traveling, sharing clever jokes, and playing bridge with her friends. Sandy found great joy in being with her nieces and nephews, and she cherished spending time with family and friends during holidays, special occasions, and cultural events.

Throughout her life, Sandy faced significant health challenges but met them with strength and resilience, ultimately enjoying a long and fulfilling life.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
