Sandra Marlene Smaul (Hebrew: Surah Miriam), beloved mother, Bubbe, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 87 years surrounded by her closest family offering her a wellspring of love. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Smaul. Devoted mother to Marci (Bruce) Valen and Paul (Mindi Cohen) Zeitz. Cherished bubbe of Daniel (Kelly), Cletus (Rikki), Jordan, Joshua (Natalie), Lian (Erica), Yonah (Ariza), Emet, and Uriel, and her great-grandchildren, Virginia, Sunny, Birdie, Archer, and River. She is forever our Bubbe. Adored aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and to all those who lovingly called her Aunt Sandy.
Sandra will be remembered for her loyalty to the Mah Jong Dolls, her deep friendships, her back scratches, her delicious kugel, her commitment to her beloved dog Alfie, her community at Temple Sinai, and her community service for children.
Her legacy lives on in the bonds of her family and the love that continues to ripple outward through the generations.
Her memory will remain a blessing (yehi zichra baruch).
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral services on Wednesday at 1:30 PM at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
