NEEDLEMAN SANDRA "SANDY" Sept. 6, 1937 - Nov. 21, 2021 Beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sandy Needleman passed away peacefully at 5:54 P.M. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Boca Raton Regional Hospital after a brave three-week battle with pneumonia.She was 84 years old but mistaken all her life for being at least twenty years younger than her age. Her beauty, grace and style are what people noticed first, but she had an inner beauty that radiated from her boundless love and concern for family and friends. She was smart, funny and tough as nails, enduring chronic ailments and fractures for decades that would have broken the spirit of most. She was an avid reader, a fierce democrat and political junkie, a connoisseur of theatre, musicals and old Hollywood. You could count on her to know the best of the best, from hairdressers to doctors, and she was never happier than when her recommendations made a difference in others' lives. Her birthday cards and thank-you notes were legendary, always filled-up with genuine, thoughtful sentiment, and she was the consummate confidant, sounding-board and advisor. Sandy would say her greatest achievement was her children, but her children would say her greatest achievement was choosing Howard (Howie) Needleman as her husband. Together, they lived a life to be envied–travelling, eating, experiencing the best the world has to offer, but most of all, cultivating innumerable life-long friendships. A suspected empath, Sandy felt the pain of others so deeply she'd have kept all her friends and family in a shoebox full of tissue paper if she could have. And whether family or friend, if there is a heaven, we know she'll insist on being the first in line to greet us when the time comes. Sandy Needleman will be loved, missed, and remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her. Sandra Needleman, born in Philadelphia, daughter of Ralph and Anna Jeck, sister of Seymour (Sy) Jeck, wife of Howard Needleman, former wife of Phillip Robinson, mother to Nancy (husband Mark Kramer), William (Bill) and Michael Robinson (wife Pamela) step-mother to Deborah (husband Jacob Weisberg) and Jackie Needleman (husband David Cohen), grandmother to Zachary, Nathalie, Alec and Olivia Robinson, Max Craig (wife Winnie), Jennifer Amell, Noah, Joshua and Jonathan Cohen, Lily and Nate Weisberg. Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
