A Representative from Philadelphia County; born in the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, August 25, 1932; A.B., Temple University, 1954; LL.B., Columbia University Law School, 1957; served, 3rd Infantry Division, United States Army (1957-1959); attorney; member, 5th Ward Democratic Executive Committee; delegate, Pennsylvania's Constitutional Convention (1968); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1971 term and served 6 consecutive terms thereafter.
Beloved husband of Rivka (nee Shnurman). Loving father of David (Elizabeth). Devoted grandfather of Georgia and Josephine. Caring brother of Louis (Linda). Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Wednesday, 11 A.M. precisely, at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St., Phila. Int. Haym Salomon Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at his late residence. Shiva will continue Saturday evening through Tuesday at the home of David and Elizabeth Rappaport.
