ROSELLE MAERKER

Sadly, our Mom, Grand-Mom and Mommom Roselle Maerker, passed very peacefully early morning on August 13, in her home. Roselle had just celebrated 92 loving, good years. Finally, after a fall/stroke-like event, she declined quickly over two weeks. She was surrounded by family, friends, and quality care. She outlived her husband, Jerry, by about 7 years, and continued to inspire our family with her fierce love, humor, independence, intelligence, sweet tooth, and love of anything with music or a good story.
Roselle is survived by her daughter, Wendy Maerker Harris and her husband David, and their children Daniel (wife Amanda), and Jonathan (wife Chihiro) and 6 grand/great grand-dogs of various breeds and sizes; and her daughter, Heidi Maerker Zod and her husband Mark, and their offspring, Becca and Ben.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 16, 11:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, with Shiva on Saturday and Sunday, Aug 17 and 18 at 7:00 the home of Heidi and Mark Zod.

The family is eternally grateful for all the love, care and shared history, travel, music, sedars, education, mail exchange, havorah, theater, community, sisterhood, and fun that we've had over the years.
