Rose Emily Frankil, age 36, of Collegeville, PA, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2026.

Rose was born on April 2, 1990, in Norristown, PA. As a young child, Rosey was smart, energetic, athletic, creative with her hands, and had many close friendships. She enjoyed the thrills in life, especially roller coasters, and loved reading. She had a strong attachment to animals (except spiders!) and looked after many pets throughout her life. Rose was a dedicated vegan for many years.

She attended and graduated from the Perkiomen Valley School District and furthered her education, earning dual licenses as a professional barber and cosmetologist. She will be remembered as a talented barber who had many loyal clients. Rose generously and proudly shared her gifts by volunteering with Haircuts for the Homeless, giving dignity and respect to those less fortunate. She dreamed of someday owning her own barbershop or becoming an instructor.

Those close to Rose knew that she was a determined person who fought hard to survive the challenges and setbacks in her life. Rose loved her family and friends and would want them to remember the good times and the moments they shared together. The absolute happiest time of Rose’s life was when her son was born and during his early years, when she was able to be his loving mother.

Rose is survived by her beloved son, Chase Mantica (age 10); her loving parents, Robert and Eileen Frankil; her sister, Marcella Frankil; brother-in-law, Forrest Cook; and niece, Polly Cook.

Other surviving family include her Bubbe, Hinda Frankil; Uncle Craig Frankil; Aunt Stacy Frankil; Aunt Adie DeFrancesco; Uncle Tony DeFrancesco; Aunt Mary DeVaughn; Aunt Jan McGinnis; Uncle Tom McGinnis; Aunt Laura McGinnis; Aunt Rosemary McGinnis; cousins Allison, Mel, Chanel, Morgan, Taylor, Megan, Leah, Karen, Michael, and Marg; and many dear friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Barbara Frankil, Marvin Frankil, Mary McGinnis, and Michael McGinnis, and by her uncles Jim McGinnis and Keith DeVaughn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Sunday, August 23, at 11:30 AM, with the family receiving friends at 11:00 AM, Goldsteins’ Rosenberg's Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18996. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
