Rose M. Beck

Rose M. Beck of Ft. Washington, PA, passed away January 4, 2025 in her home after a long illness. She was 88. A native of Archbald, PA, born June 26, 1936 to Joseph and Florence Byrne Mahon, Rose first moved to the Philadelphia area to attend Temple University School of Pharmacy. After graduating, she met and married fellow Pharmacist William Beck, and they settled in Philadelphia to begin raising a family. Rose was a retired retail Pharmacist, having practiced in Maple Glen and Landsdale, and she was a long-time member of both Germantown Jewish Center and Temple Sinai, where she regularly attended Minyan for many years following William’s passing in 1994. Rose is survived by her three children and their spouses: Liz Beck (Gary Kaufman), Michael Beck (Theresa Tapp) and Mimi Berger (Dave Morrell), and 5 grandchildren: Jordan Beck, Mark Berger, Samantha Beck, Jake Berger and Macey Berger.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Interment will follow at King David Cemetery. The family will be sitting Shiva in Fort Washington, Thursday following her interment, Friday morning and will resume Shiva Saturday.
