RONNA SILVERMAN

Ronna B. (nee Berger). July 27, 2021. Devoted wife of Donald M. Loving mother of Marc Silverman
(Randi) and Stacey Silverman. Beloved grandmother, "Om", of Alex and Michael. Funeral Services were
private.
Ronna was the heart of our family. A great wife, best friend, and companion who loved to share the joy
in good times, and never wavered in her support and optimism during the tough times life presented in
over 53 years of marriage. A once in a lifetime mother whom words cannot adequately describe. Being
a grandmother was the highlight of her life. In her retirement following a fulfilling career as a customer
service supervisor at General Electric Corporation, she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, and
participating in endless family activities including swim lessons, summer camp shows, sports activities,
and trips with the extended family.
Ronna was selfless. She always went out of her way to care for her family, and made everyone in the
room feel welcome and wanted. Her smile lit up a room. She loved to shop for clothing and gifts for her
family and had a keen eye for fashion.
She enjoyed visiting New York City, seeing Broadway shows and shared her love of travel with her
grandsons. She loved sitting on the balcony with family, listening to the waves crashing on the shore in
Ocean City, Maryland. She cherished her grandsons Alex and Michael, whom she lovingly referred to as
her medicine.
She enjoyed reading since childhood, and had a love for animals. She treasured her dog Skippy in her
childhood, and later Fluffy, Pepper, and Shadow. Her grandparents carried a special place in her heart.
Ronna will be remembered for her grace, eternal optimism and strength.
