Ronald Stern

Ronald D. Stern

October 19, 1933 - October 28, 2025

Ron was born in South Philadelphia to Selma and Albert Stern. His parents, brother Robert Jack Stern and sister Rhoda Leah Stern all predeceased him.

Ron was a Pharmacist who worked in many venues over his long career. He graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1957.

He was the father of three children.

He loved the out-of-doors and enjoyed serious bicycling, hiking, kayaking and caving.

Ron excelled in the creative arts: notably stained glass, warm glass and working in acrylics.

He loved to travel with his devoted life partner of 27 years, Carole Z. Golub.

In his later years, Ron volunteered with Sar-El in Israel, packing pharmaceuticals for the Israel Defense Forces.

Ron leaves nieces, nephews, grandchildren, including his devoted grandson Ari, friends and other relatives who loved him.

Funeral services were held on November 2, 2025.
