Ronald Mayro

Passed away peacefully on 14 August 2022 at 3 A.M. in Paoli, PA, at age 88, with his loving wife Urszula Mayro by his bedside. Ron was a devoted father to his children, Jinny, Norman, Steven, Kim and Linda, and will be missed greatly by close and extended family. Ron graduated from Drexel University and went on to serve in the military at Fort Dix. Following service, he worked in the family business. His passion was radio two-way communication, and he was self-taught in radios. He worked as a partner with Motorola and named his business Town Communications where he served schools, hospitals, and universities with radio equipment in the Philadelphia area. As a successful businessman, he supported the community by employing socially vulnerable persons and helping them to overcome hard times. His hobbies included traveling, hiking, billiards and history- specifically the World Wars and Israel. Ron was intelligent, with a great humor, and had a big heart for his children and those in need. Ron loved his work so much and felt a responsibility to those he employed and served, that he did not retire and worked to the last moment of his life. Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. precisely at Mt. Sharon Cem. (Sec. W), Springfield, PA. May he rest in peace.
