ROBERT B. of Glenside, PA and Tilghman Island, MD died suddenly on September 23, at age 71. Dearly beloved husband of Alice Mayer Stein of 40 years. Loving father of sons Jeffrey Stein of Glenside, PA and David Stein and beloved daughter-in-law Carrie Israel Stein of Rockville, MD. Beloved and adoring grand-father of Josie and Joshua Stein. Devoted brother of Dr. Richard M. Stein and sister-in-law Ellen Stein, of Closter, NJ. Beloved uncle of Julie, Eric, Adam, John, James. Great uncle of Benjamin, Michael, Lena, Audrey, Natalie, Gabrielle and Daniel. Former president and owner of Premier Building Maintenance Company in Philadelphia. Current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Temple B'nai Israel of Easton, MD., immediate past State Chair of Common Cause of PA. Former President of the Philadelphia area Rutgers Club. Treasurer of the Philadelphia Building Managers and Operators Association, Treasurer of the Laverock Improvement Association.
