ROBERT HARRISON ROSE, passed away suddenly but peacefully in London, England on Oct. 5, 2009 at age 88. Patron of Exploration of the Explorers Club, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He led a very full and adventurous life. Beloved husband of Faanya, father of Miarka Mazer and grandfather of Amanda. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends invited to Graveside Services, Monday, 11 A.M. precisely at Montefiore Cem. (Section N), 600 Church Rd., Jenkintown, PA. No flowers please but donations, if desired, to the fund for the commemorative stained glass window dedicated to Robert H. Rose at the Explorers Club Headquarters in New York. Memorial Services to be announced.
