Peacefully, on April 29, 2017, at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse. Husband of of 52 years to Susan; father of Joel (Patricia), and Diane (Andrew) Rose; grand-father of Ella and Milo; brother of Susan (Ronald) Ruderman.
Robert worked for 30 years at the School District of Philadel-phia as an educational researcher and grant writer. During his career, he contributed important information on how to help children suceed in school. After retirement, he pursued his interest in photography and volunteered at the Franklin Institute.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, 2 P.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society, or to the Philadelphia Orchestra.
