ROBERT BLOCK

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Robert Block, 82, on August 15, 2018, of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Block, of Taos NM, formerly of Elkins Park, PA, worked as an OB/GYN for more than 50 years in Northeast Philadelphia. Dr. Block was a U.S. Army Veteran and earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at Temple University. He practiced medicine at various hospitals in Northeast Philadelphia during his tenure. He is survived by his son Reid (Sarah) Block; sister Marilyn (Irvin) Adelman; nieces Janice (Larry) Strug and Lisa (Robert) Aberman; great niece Lindsay (Jesse) Emple; great nephews Michael (Kelley) Strug; Harry Aberman, and Zachary Aberman; and great-great nephews David and Joseph Emple. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Graveside Services will be held Sunday 12 Noon precisely at Mount Sharon Cemetery (sec. R), 502 E. Springfield Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
