ARROW, ROBERT 71 - of Willow Grove and Ventnor, died of complications from cancer March 15 at Abington Memorial Hospital. For more than a decade, he was public relations director for several Atlantic City casinos and befriended co-workers and casino performers alike, including Sid Caesar, George Burns, Eydie Gorme, and Steve Lawrence. Bob joined the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival in 2001. He retired in 2009, but continued to volunteer there. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Northeast Philadelphia and earned a bachelor's degree from Temple University. His career was spent as a supporter of the arts. Early on he was an administrator for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and was director of public relations and assistant managing director for the Honolulu Symphony and Opera. He later operated Robert Arrow Music Enterprises. In the late 1990s he was managing director of South Jersey Regional Theater. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services were held March 18 at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks Memorial Chapel in Philadelphia. Burial was in Montefiore Cemetery, Jenkintown.
