Rita Rudman

October 3, 1930 – November 25, 2025

Rita Rudman (Klein), our family’s beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 95. Throughout her long and rich life, Rita embodied the values of family, tradition, and unconditional love.

Rita devotedly raised four sons - Steven, Kenneth, Martin, and Michael - and built a happy and loving home for her family. As her sons married and started families of their own, she excitedly welcomed daughters-in-law and especially delighted in her role as “Bubbie” to ten grandchildren. Her legacy continues through eight great-grandchildren.

Rita was wise, strong, and nurturing. She loved puzzles, dogs, crosswords, slot machines, Las Vegas, opera, chocolate ice cream, red wine, and above all else, spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Rita was preceded in death by her devoted husbands Melvin Rudman and Larry Starer, and her brothers Tippy and Bernie. She is survived by her children Steven (Wendy), Kenneth (Leora), Martin (Karen), and Michael (Judy), grandchildren Rachel (Justin), Seth (Georgie), Zoe (Arturo), Evan (Paige), Adam (Ariane), Alex (Alana), Andrew (Sky), Greg (Chloe), Katie, and Maddy, great-grandchildren Emunah, Caspian, Shai, Vivian, Romeo, Adrian, Keshet, and Rasenna, and brothers Fred and Howard and sister, Donna.

Rita gave generously to many causes, especially those supporting dogs, children, and the Jewish community. We encourage you to make a donation to an organization of your choice in her memory.

Family and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 1pm, at Ohev Shalom, 2 Chester Road, Wallingford, Pa 19086. Interment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 1200 Bartram Avenue, Collingsdale, PA. 19023
