RITA COMER

Rita Comer PHILADELPHIA, PA Rita Comer (nee Denenberg), 73, of Philadelphia, PA, died Oct. 1, 2014, after a battle with cancer. Born and raised in Trenton, Mrs. Comer was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Rae Denenberg and sister of the late Edward Denenberg (Cecile). Mrs. Comer was a retired clerk for the City of Philadelphia, working there for 20 years prior to her retirement eight years ago. Prior to that, she worked for the State of New Jersey. She was the wife of the late Harvey Comer. Mrs. Comer is survived by her two daughters, Hallie Weiss (Steven) and Carrie Zornosa (Nicholas). She was a loving grandmother to Jordan, Brayden, Violet, and Juliet. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services on Friday at 11 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA. The family will return to the home of Hallie and Steven Weiss. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Klein Branch JCC, 10100 Jamison Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19116.
