RICHARD ZIPIN

Richard L. Zipin on November 25, 2019. Husband of Brenda (nee Poff); father of Michael (Jane) and Gerald (Katherine); grandfather of Matthew, Brittney, and Geremy; brother of Earl (Toby) and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Richard retired after working over 40 years for the Philadelphia Health Department. He graduated from Wharton with a Master's degree in Government Administration. He was a member of the Train Collectors Association and spent time volunteering for AARP and the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a Buick enthusiast and enjoyed putting his car in shows. He was known for always lending a helping hand, whenever someone needed him, he would do whatever he could to help. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Goldstein's Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966 on Friday, November 29 to arrive at 12:30 pm with services starting at 1:00 pm sharp. Close family and friends can join family in the following precession to Shalom Memorial Park, 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Ceremony to begin at 2:00 pm. Contributions in his memory can be made to the American Lung Association.
