He was a WWII Veteran and despite suffering the loss of both legs in Europe, he went on to lead a full life as a research scientist. He made significant contri-butions in the fields of Immunology and Hematology. Husband of the late Shirley (nee Pasternack), father of Gladys Fenichel (Richard Erstad) and Marilyn Fenichel (Jim Cassell), grandfather of 5. Services private.
