Rhoda Kamens, nee Roth, late of Rockville, MD, passed away July 18, 2026. Born 1940 in Philadelphia, PA. Survived by her husband of 67 years, Rabbi Sylvan Kamens, and her brother, Mark J. Roth; three children and their spouses, Joanne (Eli Niewood), Samuel (Sue), and Jonathan (Andrea); nine grandchildren and their spouses, Benjamin Niewood (Aliza), Tess Niewood (Yossi Koppel), Aviva Kamens, Noah Kamens, Miriam Bremer-Kamens (Matthew), Bayla Kamens, Ollie Kamens, Josie Kamens, and Richard Kamens; and five great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Leland, and Solomon Niewood and Harry and Veronica Koppel. 

Funeral to take place Monday, July 20 at 1pm, Mount Sharon Cemetery, Springfield, PA, Section Q; please contact the family for live stream details.
