Rebecca Julianne Kruger

REBECCA JULIANNE KRUGER on July 24,2024. Beloved daughter of Cindy (nee Keleher) and Warren Kruger; Loving sister of Ben Kruger (Sarah Adler) and Sarah Kruger; Devoted granddaughter of Sylvia Schneider. In her 27 years Rebecca had an immeasurable impact on all fortunate enough to know her. She always had kind words and valuable guidance to share, brightening the lives of everyone she met. She was a graduate of Temple University, where she majored in English. Rebecca could convey emotion through words in a way that was both beautiful and powerful, and was a talented poet. She worked as a barista at Knockbox, a small local coffee shop, where she loved being able to give back to her West Philly community. She entered the Masters in Social Work program at Bryn Mawr to work towards becoming a therapist. Rebecca struggled with mental illness for much of her life, and wanted to improve the system and use her own personal experience and incredible insight to help others going through the same hardships. She showed great promise in her brief work at an adult day program and as a paralegal at Community Legal Services before she lost her own battle. She made the world a better place and her presence will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Monday, 11 AM precisely at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors, Inc., 6410 N. Broad St., Phila., PA. Interment Montefiore Cemetery, with a gathering afterwards at the home of Cindy and Warren Kruger.
