REBA (nee Miller), passed on Aug. 11, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Fred, of Tamarac FL, formerly of Phila. PA. Mother of Linda (Michael) Frolove and Reuven (Leah) Silberstein; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and great great nephews and nieces.
A bright and loving woman, Reba brought happiness to everyone who knew her through her thoughtful ways and positive outlook on life. Reba was a talented singer who performed on public radio as a young girl and in choral groups later in life. She found great joy in traveling and owning an overnight camp with Fred. She was an excellent cook and loved entertaining her friends and family. A woman of style and beauty, Reba was an inspiration to so many people with her keen mind and determination. Reba will always be in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday, August 20, 2012, at 1 P.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Int. Montefiore Cem. Shiva will be observed Monday following Services and Tuesday evening at the residence of Linda and Michael Frolove. Contributions in Reba's memory may be made to the Associated Alumni of Central H.S., P.O. 26580, Phila. PA 19141-6580, for "The Fred and Reba Silberstein Memorial French Award".
