RAYMOND, Aug. 23, 2010. He was a graduate of the 163rd Class of Central High School and a graduate of Drexel University, Class of 1941. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific on B29 Bombers and a Veteran of the Korean War. He was twice president of Quaker City Lodge of B'Nai Brith and was active in the Drizen Weiss Post #215 JWV. He was 93 years of age. Beloved husband for over 68 years of Shirley (nee Rubin), beloved father of Charles (Mindy) Rose and the late Andrea Panofsky, loving grandfather of Josh (Allison) Rose, Ian Rose, Ellen (Mark Noel) Panofsky, Jonathan Panofsky and Allison Moss, loving great grandfather of Max Rose and Abigail Noel. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Wed. 1:30 P.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Montefiore Cem. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Charles and Mindy Rose Wednesday and Thursday only.
