RAYMOND OPPENHEIM

OPPENHEIM, RAYMOND J. 83 - died on July 21st, 2010. Born in Chester, PA. He was the owner and manager of Oppenheims Food Market for 40 years until his retirement in 1985 when he relocated to Atlantic City. Mr. Oppenheim was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, B'nai Brith and a former member of Cong. Ohev Ahalom in Wallingford, PA. During his retirement he enjoyed the casinos traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Oppenheim (nee Wolf), his daughter Rhonda Smith Esq. and her husband Dr. Matthew Smith. Also survived by his two grandchildren Steven and Jared. Mr. Oppenheim is also the father of the late Steven Oppenheim. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 23rd from Brookhaven Cemetery, Brookhaven, PA at 1:30 PM.
