A true matriarch, known for loving her many grand and great grandchildren, Rachael DiMarco, age 89, of Huntingdon Valley, passed at her residence on January 6th 2024 with her beloved dog Bella by her side.
She was born in Atlantic City, NJ on April 26th 1934 to Paul & Eva Greenberg and spent many of her days on the boards of Atlantic City. She attended Atlantic City High School before marrying Martin Kodroff and moving to Philadelphia where they had their three children Marcy, Bruce, & Phillip. Rachael was fortunate to love twice when she met her 2nd husband, John DiMarco. They would spend many days together traveling in their Airstream camper, creating lifelong memories. She assisted in the operations of DiMarco Construction while also being the owner and operator of her travel agency, Tempo Travel, located in the Far Northeast. She had a passion for traveling the world to include places like Israel, Germany, Hungary, Austria, England, Ireland, & many islands in the Caribbean, before retiring in Pembroke Pines Florida. It was here, under the Florida sun, that she spent some of the happiest moments of her life with her late son Phillip Kodroff. In 2022, Rachael relocated back to her home city of Philadelphia (Huntingdon Valley) to be closer to her remaining children, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She spent her remaining days in joyful moments with her family.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
