Phyllis Ford Victor, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 99. 

Born in Philadelphia on April 9, 1927 to Fay and Henry Ford, beloved sister of Robert Ford, all of blessed memory. 

Phyllis was the devoted wife of Herbert Victor, of blessed memory, for 74 wonderful years and the cherished mother of Mark Victor and Scott Victor. She was an adoring Mommom to Heather (Brett) Stecker, Brett (Courtney) Victor, Kyle (Thomas Gaynor) Victor, Fiona Victor and Skye Victor, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. She was a fabulous great-grandmother to Belle and Leila Stecker, and Mia and Bennett Victor.

Phyllis was an accomplished pianist and spectacular bridge player up until just weeks before she passed away. She was a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and was a lifelong member of Adath Israel synagogue in Merion, PA. Phyllis was a staunch supporter of Jewish Federation and JAFCO.

Phyllis will be remembered for her class, style, knowledge of history and politics, and her ability to live her life with quiet strength and grace despite many hardships she faced. She had unconditional love for her family, and her two sons were devoted to her and visited her in Florida every month for years. Phyllis’ favorite term of endearment for her family was to call everyone “Dearie”. Her memory will forever be a blessing.

Funeral services will be held graveside on Monday, May 18th at 11am at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Malvern, PA. Shiva will be observed at the home of Mark Victor and Lisa Naide following services and on Monday and Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Federation or JAFCO.
